Hello all,

Just had an interview at home today. I have been off work since March with this dreaded RA. I am on reduced
money now until 20th Sept when it then stops. I have been told by my Employer that they have me (as a Manager)
in a PHI policy - great. So today have had an hour interview in my home by 2 people from the Insurance Company
asking lots of different questions regarding my ability to work. I advised the fatigue and the pain are the
biggest problems. Those that have got to know me over the past few weeks are aware that my medication with
regard to a DMARD is still not settled. Mtx failed last year and this year after settling my BP started in July
on Leflun but due to migranes this is n ow stopped. So now on amitryp, celcoxib, paracet. and on depo steriod
inject every now again (but they wear off after 4 weeks ) Spec on hol for 3 weeks. So very frustrated.

I need to play a waiting game with regards Ins Co and also my Rhummy Depart, 2 failed DMARDs -
so what next . . . . . . . .

This is so frustrating and miserable for you Rose. It is just a case of waiting and hoping that you get the best outcome for you. Do you want to be medically retired? Would that be best for you? Wishing you lots of luck with this.

Take care,

Eleanor x
